Plate-Pal

Plate-Pal is a Yelp-inspired web application for users to search for businesses, view business pages, and leave reviews and ratings. This was a group project with Google Maps API and react places implementation.

• Integrated Google Maps API to display restaurant markers on an interactive map, providing a visually appealing representation of locations, enhancing user experience, and simplifying navigation.
• Utilized ReactHooks for dynamic error management in various forms, enabling real-time validation and user feedback, improving user experience and promoting accurate data submission.
• Collaborated within an Agile Scrum team of 3 engineers, using Git feature branches for version control and conducting daily standup meetings to review project progress, align goals, and ensure effective communication.
